IT Support Specialist
Job’s purpose
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide technical support to end-users across the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient operations of IT systems and services. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining high levels of satisfaction and productivity for our diverse and globally distributed workforce.
What you will focus on
- Technical Support:
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Escalate complex issues to higher support tiers or specialized teams as necessary.
- IT Asset Management:
- Maintain and update the inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software and certificates, in the Asset Management System.
- Coordinate deployment, tracking, and disposal of IT assets in compliance with company policies.
- Generate reports on asset utilization and lifecycle management for stakeholders.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Support and administer IAM processes and tools, with a focus on CyberArk or similar privileged access management systems.
- Oversee user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure proper account management.
- Monitor privileged account activities to ensure compliance with security policies and report on unauthorized or suspicious activity.
- Printing Solutions Administration:
- Manage and support enterprise printing solutions, including print servers, network printers, and multifunction devices.
- Troubleshoot printing issues, including driver compatibility, connectivity, and queue management.
- Work with external vendors (MPS) and internal teams to optimize printing solutions and reduce costs.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for technical processes, solutions, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to users on IT tools and best practices.
- Incident Management:
- Monitor and resolve incidents in accordance with established SLAs and ITIL processes.
- Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with local and global IT teams to ensure consistency in support and systems management.
- Participate in IT projects, including system rollouts, migrations, and deployments.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in IT support or similar role in a multinational environment.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting Windows systems, Office 365, and common enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management and/or Identity and Access Management tools (e.g., CyberArk).
- Proficient in Active Directory, Printing Solutions, and Office 365 administration.
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools and processes.
- Excellent command of the English and Greek language both written & spoken.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation) are considered an asset.
- Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune), knowledge of security frameworks and IAM best practices are a plus.
