Your Purpose

As an Own Brand & Product Category Supervisor, you are responsible for developing own brand products, as well as setting and reviewing requirements and policies of them, regarding legal and safety issues. Moreover, you monitor the level of compliance of our suppliers and the corrective action plans. If Quality Assurance in a fast moving food retail sector is your passion, we want to hear from you!

What you will focus on

• Contribute to the development of new private label products that meet the specifications and policies of Ahold Delhaize group, so that they are legal, safe and responsibly sourced

• Oversee and lead your team regarding the planning and monitoring of the annual laboratory tests and guide your team on related issues
• Manage crisis (eg product recalls, authority issues) and coach your team when such issues arise
• Oversee and lead your team regarding customer complaints management
• Maintain and continuously improve existing procedures as well as existing certifications (eg Own Brand Bio products, Own Brand Protected Designation Origin products, ASC fresh salmon)
• Participate in regular meetings with other CSE Region members to harmonize new product development processes
• Organize and coordinate meetings with relevant AB Departments for alignment, guidance and update on related results

What you have

• Degree in Food Science/Technology or Chemistry or relevant field
• Good knowledge of food and non-food legislation
• Minimum 3 years at a similar position
• Previous experience in managerial roles
• Fluency in English
• MS Office literacy
• Advance Excel or Power BI knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge on sustainability topics will be an asset
