The opportunity

As a Junior Sourcing Manager F&V (EU&I) you will be will be actively involved in the centralized sourcing of fruits & vegetables, consolidating volumes and selecting strategic Greek suppliers. Working together with your F&V colleagues at AB, you will closely cooperate with the F&V sourcing managers in EU&I region. You will ensure profitable agreements with suppliers as well as the availability of high-quality products, while contributing to our company's success, growth and competitiveness and achieving a high consumer experience.

What you will focus on

• Maintain strong partnerships with Greek suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, promotions and contracts to ensure a consistent supply of products while optimizing costs and maintaining high level of quality along with timely delivery of products
• Collaborate closely with Sourcing Managers, Category Managers and other departments from EU&I network, in order to support promotional activities and align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives
• Seek new opportunities through various channels, trade directories, trade show participation and site visits to reduce costs
• Prepare reports and export KPIs to provide valuable information to all related parties
• Receive and analyze data from Trade dpt, derived from internal and external market research and analysis to gain insights for new trends and consumer habits in F&V and detect competitor offerings

Who we are looking for

• BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Food Science, Agricultural studies or in a relevant field. MSc / MBA is a prerequisite
• 2-3 years working experience in a relevant position in agricultural/ retail sector or product management
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset
