The opportunity

As a Private Label & Supplier Compliance Specialist, you will ensure the compliance of Private Label products and suppliers with food safety, regulatory, certification, quality, and internal requirements. Through effective risk management and cross-functional collaboration, you will support product approvals, safeguard supplier compliance, and contribute to the successful and timely launch of products to the market.

What you will focus on

• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and certification requirements, collaborating with the relevant authorities when needed.
• Manage Private Label products from specification review and registration to artwork approval and market launch.
• Coordinate Group-level harmonized products, ensuring local implementation and effective collaboration with international teams.
• Manage compliance, certifications, and documentation for organic Private Label products.
• Coordinate annual external audits for organic products, including preparation, audit support, and follow-up actions.
• Oversee certification, inspections, and compliance activities for PDO and PGI Private Label products.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Social Compliance requirements across suppliers and production facilities.
• Coordinate risk assessments and laboratory testing activities, evaluating results and driving corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

• 2-4 years of professional experience in a relevant Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or Product Compliance role
• BSc in Agronomy, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or any other relevant scientific field
• Strong knowledge of product certification standards and HACCP principles
• Strong knowledge of food and non-food legislation, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks
• Good knowledge of Food Technology and food production processes
• Good understanding of Food Supply Chain operations and quality management practices
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
• Experience within the Retail or FMCG sector would be considered an asset
• Professional certifications related to Quality Management or Food Safety would be considered an asset
