The opportunity

The position holder will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the company’s import and export operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, compliance with customs and regulatory requirements, and the effective support of B2B sales activities for international customers.

The role requires daily collaboration with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, commercial teams, and external customers to ensure timely deliveries and shipments, proper documentation management, and a high level of customer service.

What you will focus on

Import Operations

• Monitor and coordinate import orders, primarily for Private Label products.
• Communicate with suppliers and transportation partners to schedule deliveries.
• Coordinate with warehouses regarding expected deliveries and required documentation.
• Manage and maintain complete import documentation files, including POs, invoices, packing lists, CMRs, certificates, and other relevant documents.
• Collaborate with customs brokers for non-EU imports and ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
• Support the Accounting Department by providing the necessary documentation for financial postings.
• Handle special procedures related to alcoholic beverages and submissions to relevant platforms (e.g., ISIS).
• Monitor discrepancies in pricing, transportation costs, and order variances in collaboration with Category Managers.

Export Operations & B2B Sales Support

• Manage export operations and B2B sales activities for intragroup customers and international business partners.
• Collaborate with commercial and export teams to promote Own Brand products.
• Prepare and distribute commercial and master data information required for customer product listings.
• Support business development initiatives by proposing assortment extensions and new product opportunities.
• Coordinate with warehouses and Procurement to ensure the timely preparation and fulfillment of customer orders.
• Manage export documentation and country-specific certification requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Logistics teams to address quality issues, claims, and delivery shortages.

Who we are looking for

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in import, export, or international trade operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation requirements.
• Experience in transportation management, logistics operations, and collaboration with customs brokers.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and master data management.
• Experience within the FMCG or Retail sector, as well as exposure to intragroup trade or Private Label / Own Brand products, will be considered a strong asset.
