The opportunity  

Are you passionate about optimizing store operations and ensuring a seamless retail experience? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores Equipment Specialist in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail industry. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess expertise in managing store equipment, we want to hear from you! 

What you will focus on  

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various store mechanical equipment, including but not limited to refrigeration units, generators, cutting machinery and other fixtures.
• Track and manage inventory of store equipment, ensuring adequate levels for all locations while minimizing costs and waste.
• Develop and conduct training programs as well as distribute technical manuals for store staff on the proper use and care of equipment, as well as troubleshooting common issues.
• Ensure all store equipment meets regulatory and safety standards, as well as coordinate necessary inspections and certifications.
• Oversee mechanical equipment store needs, monitor ordering process and ensure timely delivery  
• Monitor stores equipment budget 

Who we are looking for  

• 6 + years of advanced technical expertise in refrigeration systems and installations. Prior experience withing Retail FMCG sector would be desirable 
• University Degree BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Technical School Diploma in Refrigeration
• Good knowledge in English language
• MS Office Literacy
