The opportunity
Embark on a transformative journey as the District Repair & Maintenance Coordinator within the vibrant world of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. In this pivotal role you will be ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse by coordinating and overseeing all repair and maintenance activities. Your expertise and ingenuity will contribute greatly to elevating efficiency, maximizing asset performance and enchant our customers.
What you will focus on
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement repair and maintenance strategies tailored to the assigned warehouse.
Source and liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality execution of repairs and maintenance tasks based on the warehouse’s budget
Monitor and evaluate the condition of warehouse’s assets to proactively identify maintenance needs and propose actionable improvements
Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all assets in alignment with company guidelines and regulatory requirements
Collaborate and coordinate daily with the warehouse’s colleagues to ensure seamless maintenance operations and optimized asset performance
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and manage crisis situations effectively to minimize operational downtime
Participate in any audits or inspections carried out by public authorities or regulatory bodies
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements and regulatory changes that impact repair and maintenance practices in the Retail FMCG sector
Who we are looking for
5 years of working experience as a Repair and Maintenance Coordinator. Any working experience within Retail FMCG sector would be considered an asset
BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. MSc would be considered an asset
Good Knowledge of the English Language
MS Office Literacy
Experience in working with SAP or any other relevant systems would be considered an asset
